Our History
Smith & Jones Antique Auto Parts was formed in June 1972 by Gary Smith and Harold Jones. Both had restored antique cars and wanted to provide the Columbia, South Carolina area a local source of antique auto parts for restorers in the area. The business evolved from part-time to full-time with a full line of Model A parts and Model T parts for antique autos from 1909 through 1931. A catalogue of our antique auto parts, now containing 142 pages, was developed which brought about a much larger customer base and resulted in orders worldwide.
We have also been
the home of the Palmetto Model A Ford Club's Meet for the past 2 years!
